Original Story

Crestline, CA – A video arraignment is set for 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in San Bernardino County Superior Court for 50-year-old Larry Darnell Rose who is accused of breaking into a Crestline business this past weekend.

San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies responded to Palazzo Home Improvement Store in the 74000 block of Lake Drive at 6:02 p.m. Sunday to discover a side window was broken to gain entry to the business.

Information released by the Twin Peaks Sheriff's station indicates Rose allegedly kicked a window in at the side of the newly opened home improvement business and entered the store without permission.

During the unlawful entry, the suspect apparently received lacerations on his head and feet from the broken glass.

A reporting party told deputies the suspect was wearing a white "wife beater" shirt and khaki pants. He was located, questioned and booked at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga at 9:26 p.m.

Rose was charged with second degree commercial burglary and is being held on $25,000 bail. Damage to Palazzo Home Improvement exceeded $400.

In addition to the burglary charge, Rose is scheduled for arraignment on August 20 for an outstanding bench warrant on a charge of spousal abuse and another for providing false identification to a peace officer.
