Death Investigation of Lodge Guest Underway
San Clement Man Found With Upper Body Trauma

Big Bear Lake, CA - The San Bernardino County Coroner is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death of a 48-year-old San Clemente man whose body was found in the 40000 block of Lakeview Drive in Big Bear Lake.

At 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, Big Bear Sheriff's deputies were summoned to check the welfare of Jung Kim in a cabin at a Big Bear Lake Lodge.
Deputies discovered Kim with upper body trauma and he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner.
Media reports indicate Kim may have suffered a fatal gunshot wound, but the coroner explained investigators will try and determine whether Kim's death was accidental, a suicide or a homicide. The investigation is being conducted by the Sheriff's Department's Homicide Detail.
