Men Assaulted With Beer Bottle and ShovelSuspects Leave Arrowbear Heading Towards Running Springs By G.T. Houts Arrowbear, CA - Two men were assaulted while filling their work vehicle with fuel at an Arrowbear gas station. One was struck by a beer bottle and the other by a shovel.
San Bernardino County Sheriff's Deputies are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the seven Hispanic males involved in the assault. Deputy Tracy Klinkhart issued a media advisory about the incident that occurred at about 7:15 a.m. Saturday at the Valero station on Highway 18.
The deputy reported the two victims were assaulted after an argument broke out with the seven unidentified males. One subject was hit on the head with a beer bottle and the other struck across the back with a shovel. The subject who was hit with the shovel was later transported to an area hospital by ambulance.
