Update 3 — Friday, 3:55 a.m.
Skyforest, CA — Bargain hunters are invited to TOMORROW'S Pet Squad Rummage Sale starting at 8 a.m. The sale will take place at the corner of Highway 18 and Kuffel Canyon Road.
New items have been added overnight promising shoppers a lot to choose from. The sale will raise funds to assist mountain residents who face pet emergencies and support The Bear Fund (through Arrowhead Animal Hospital in Blue Jay) and the Mountain s Humane Society.

Update 2 — Wednesday, 7 a.m.
Skyforest, CA — Additional items donated by mountain residents have been added to Saturday's Pet Squad Rummage Sale.
The special sale begins May 17 at 8 a.m. at the corner of Highway 18 and Kuffel Canyon Road and is actually adding new items daily promising shoppers lots of bargains.

Organizers urge serious bargain hunters to come early to discover great prices on everything from electronic devices to clothing and children's toys to a wide assortment of books.
Update — Sunday, 9:15 a.m.
Skyforest, CA — The Pet Squad will be staging a Mountain Pets Rummage Sale on Saturday (May 17) at the corner of Highway 18 and Kuffel Canyon Road in Skyforest and the group will be offering some unique items donated by mountain residents.
Donated items to date include clothing, mountain bike, children's toys, several electronic items including a television and VCR, bread making machine, vacuums, dishware, bedding, books and a very unique Christmas reindeer.
"We're very touched and grateful by the show of support for this event," organizers told RIMOFTHEWORLD.net, "and we know it will continue until the event is over. This just reinforces our feelings of how this mountain looks out for its family, be they people or pets."

A spokesperson for The Pet Squad told RIMOFTHEWORLD.net the group is hopeful the sale will raise additional monies and maybe even roll over to Sunday, May 18, if enough items are donated.
"There are a lot of people on the mountain," the spokesperson added, "who can't afford to pay for medical expenses when their pets get sick or face surgery. We're just trying to be good neighbors and make sure they have the assistance they need to take care of their animals."
