Tuesday, May 20, 2008
Crestline, CA – It's going to be a splashtacular weekend at Lake Gregory Regional Park starting Saturday (May 24) with the opening of swimming season and the waterslide.
With temperatures rising, Lake Gregory Regional Park has the answer to keeping cool in the 4-acre swim lagoon and plenty of sandy beaches

Lake Gregory has lifeguards on duty and plenty of cool water for children of all ages to splash around, swim and have a fun time. Swimmers are encouraged to adhere to posted signs and pay attention to the directions of the trained lifeguards.
The 300-foot double-flume waterslide through the Pines makes visiting Lake Gregory a "splashtacular" experience.

After Memorial Day, Lake Gregory's swimming lagoons will be open on weekends until June 24th when all San Bernardino County Regional Park swim areas will be open for the week and on weekends. Patrons are encouraged to call (909) 338-2233 for park hours and additional information.
Entrance to the beach for youngsters 4-years-old and older is $3 per person. A swim entrance pass (valid during swim season from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend) is $25 per person. Senior citizens (62-years-old and older) and physically disabled person's swim entrance pass is $20 per person. Annual families swim entrance only pass is $100 and is valid for up to four (4) people during swim season, except holidays and special events. An additional family member on annual swim entrance pass is $25 per person.
A single token waterslide ride is $1 and swim admission and all-day waterslide use is available for $9. All-day waterslide use if $6 and a 10-punch all-day waterslide use permit is $50.
High gas prices have people adjusting their summer travel plans and Lake Gregory Regional Park and the other eight facilities offer a wide array of activities turning a visit into an adventure in near-by locations that make the cost of driving palatable. Tranquil, well-stocked lakes are idea for the pure sport of fishing, or even catching the evening meal.
