Original Story
"BROADCASTING LIVE, all across America, to all the ships at sea and to all our boys and girls in uniform stationed abroad, this is WARTIME RADIO REVUE!"
Lake Arrowhead, CA — And so begins another evening with Pete Jacobs and his 16-piece big band. They'll take the stage at the Arrowhead Arts Music Festival at Tavern Bay Beach Club at 6 p.m. July 24.

Interspersing the hits of the Thirties and Forties, along with late-breaking news stories from the war years, as well as several original songs and even some 1940 style radio commercials, listening to Wartime Radio Revue is like taking a time machine back to a World War II USO show.
Formed in November of 1997, Pete Jacobs' band has established itself as one of the premier big bands of Southern California. The band commands respect at such swingin' landmarks as The Hollywood Bowl, The Derby, Catalina's Casino Ballroom, Pasadena Ballroom Dance Association and is a regular monthly-featured band at Disneyland.
Dancing is what it's all about! Few bandleaders understand, and can deliver, what dancers want better than Pete Jacobs and his Wartime Radio Revue.
"My wife and I have spent a lot of time learning as much as we could about swing dancing. I have a real appreciation for what dancers want, because we go out dancing ourselves quite often. We are avid Lindy-hoppers! I put our set together with the dancers in mind. It doesn't matter how great the musicianship of the band is if you can't dance to it."
Plan now to dance the evening away at Tavern Bay Beach Club on Thursday.
On July 31, Curly Musgrave and Belinda Gail are welcomed to the shores of Lake Arrowhead as the 2006 Western Music Duo of the Year present traditional country and western songs as well as gospel. The duo infuses electricity, energy, enthusiasm and versatility into their performance.
The final Arrowhead Arts Music Festival concert is August 7 when The Fab Four: A Tribute to the Beatles will make everyone in attendance think they're seeing and hearing the real thing. The incredible stage show includes three costume changes representing every era of the Beatles ever-changing career
Tickets to Pete Jacobs and his Wartime Radio Revue are $25 for adults and children under 16 are free. Table and premium seating reservations are available. For information call (909) 337-4272 or visit http://www.arrowheadarts.org.
