Notice: Verizon Blocking ROTW Text Messages

We have been working with Verizon Wireless to rectify a problem with Club Member subscribers not receiving Alert messages. It appears that Verizon blocks all messages sent to their subscribers after the first message. This has effectively stopped the ability of Verizon subscribers to receive text messages.
RIMOFTHEWORLD.net strongly urges that you utilize a secondary email service to receive your Alert messages. From that secondary email service, you should be able to forward incoming Alerts to your mobile phone by setting up forwarding on that account.
We will let you know when this problem is resolved.
