Forward Spread Stopped on Foothill Fire (Update 3:10 PM)By News Team

The CHP has confirmed to RIMOFTHEWORLD.net that the suspect vehicle is a late model Ford Explorer, white in color. Law Enforcement has multiple detained individuals while an investigation of these incidents continues.

San Bernardino, CA — Forward spread of the Foothill fire has been stopped and fire crews continue to work on full containment.
Law enforcement is searching for a suspicious white vehicle that was seen in the area where the fire started.
Additionally, there are scanner reports that a suspect is detained for allegedly throwing a burning object out his window on Highway 18 below Upper Waterman Canyon. It is unknown at this time if the incident is related.

San Bernardino, CA — Fire crews are quickly getting a handle on the Foothill Incident and have begun to cancel additional resources. Crews are having a difficult time accessing the fire for a ground assault, so air tankers have been working the fire and are making good progress.
The Foothill Fire is reported to be holding at approximately three acres.
Original Story San Bernardino, CA — A vegetation fire is burning in Del Rosa area near the national forest boundary. Fire crews and air tankers are working the fire which is burning at a slow to moderate rate of spread.
