Other Pets Needing Homes

I saw this posted on CL & the sentence "I don't want to haul him to an auction...." just chilled me. I know NOTHING about horses (what does "bomb proof" mean? Former Bomb Squad officer? ), but he looks gorgeous & sounds like he'd make a wonderful companion for someone. Could anyone please help this guy? Thank you!!!

14.3H, 16YR GELDING. He is timid of adults until he settles in his new home but when he does you can put beginners, kids and 70yr old men on him. Has exc. ground manners. Bomb proof on trail with another horse, wont ride off property alone though. Rides perfect in a group. Will ride alone on the property easily. I dont want to haul him to an auction so if you can give him a good home please come get him. 951-852-5774

bomb proof in horse language means nothing bothers this horse, i would donate him to a ridding school befor i would sent the horse to the killers as dog food . there are so many good disabled riding schools that would love to have him one s in san dimas i cant remember the name off hand but it caters to the disabled kids and this horse sounds great for them , please check to the owner of the horse cruise the internet and email some people befor this sweetheart of a horse ends up where no horse should ever ever end up.. killed and food for people over seas.. ill try to help if i can

www.ohorse.com this is a list of therapeutic centers that use horses for disabled adults and kids,

knew of one 25 years ago they were wonderfull but again out of san dimas, ( unknown spelling of diemas? but try this .. please they will come out and try out the horse and if accepted will take it home to their stable.. he will have a life long home there ..

by the way the age of this horse is prime due to they normally live in their 40s if well taken care of , figure 25 years to 40 years
