Oh, crap! I didn't even think about the signs having today listed on them. Duh! I guess I can be naive as the "strapping young grandson" (who said hello, BTW). I thought you were just being the responsible citizen and making sure we didn't leave out signs up for three months the way so many do. Hubby went to get this them am and said he couldn't find them. No wonder!!!! Sorry about that!

"Too bad if you missed the FINAL annual sale!"
Final annual? You know that by this time next year we will have forgotten all of the running around like crazy women we did, how tired and sunburned we were at the end of the day and we will be right there again for the animals!

I will work with you girls ANYTIME!!!! What fun it was yesterday. I'm so glad I finally got to meet ALL of my wonderful animal caring friends. You ladies are awesome!!!! I couldn't be more proud to be a part of something so important. I wonder how many animals will get the benefit of our hard work yesterday? It really does make a difference to work together.
p.s. Hippymama, take your time on the chair. No need to hurry. Thanks for returning all the tables and chairs everyone.

I also forgot to mention the new plan for next year, we post pictures of Peg's cutie pie strapping grandson all over the event then we will have the younger animal loving ladies volunteering!!! Then we can kick back in the shade!

That would be an interesting idea, huh? He's new up here, so he knows NO ONE! Anyone have a young lady who would like to meet a young man who has the unanimous (right?) approval of the Pet rummage sale ladies???? I know, I know...get an ad :0
Sent: Sunday, May 18, 2008 09:38 AM
Of course, buying ad for it would make me his pimp, right? Hmmm, probably would not be appreciated by ROTW...

Good point.

What a great event - it was especially exciting to meet you all! I went to the ROTW BBQ and met people that I feel I have known for years.

All puppers and pets wagging tails to be cared for by the sale - no one wants to turn down care for their furry family love! Now the emergency bank has been filled.

ShowmeF, you were great!! I forgot to mention you! Thanks for all the help with my purchases. I was confusing you with Broomstick I think. ????

Nice meeting you Mitty ... didn't know you hadn't introduced yourself around to everyone ... would have made an announcement!

Broomstick is the young pretty blond in shorts... I'm the old gray haired fat lady ... I'd love to be mistaken for her, I'm guessing it wouldn't be a mutually preferred mix up!

FABULOUS idea! Why didn't we do that THIS year!

Hippymama~ THANKS for locking the door!

Broom .... even with my senior moment brain, I don't think I'll forget the WORK and heat!

DD~ sorry I misunderstood about RFS ... hope they aren't cranky when they see everything... we can say "Rocky's Said" ...?

Peg ... tell your hubby thanks for going for the signs ... reason I'm so freaky about them is that I'll FOLLOW a sign for MILES, and when I get there and there is no sale, steam starts coming out of my ears! I TRULY need garage sale-ers anonymous.

GREAT meeting everyone ... sad thing is I was so brain dead that if I see you around the mountain, I probably won't have a clue we spent a whole day together ... so, Please tap me on the shoulder and remind me we are friends and introduce yourself to me!

broom, please make sure that the proceeds are given to Dr. B when you drop them off. I spoke with Terri this morning, so she knows to expect them. Thank you!
