I didn't see where anyone reported this, so I will. Sorry if I missed it and it's a repeat...

On channel 7 news, our own Bob Banfield gave an extended report of the nearby fires, or lack thereof...

He said the Devore Fire was contained at about 3pm with the Glen Helen fire being contained shortly thereafter. The Glen Helen fire burned about 30 acres and he didn't say the acreage on the Devore fire. The biggest fire was the the one at Sierra that burned about 300 acres and there were about 300 homes evacuated. They were getting ready to lift the evacuation because most of the smoke was gone due to the wind.

So, our mighty firefighters have done it again!

I am not worthy!
