I am listening to the scanner link and it sounds like they are evacuating Deer Lodge Park and using MPH as an incident location. There was some discussion about moving things from Big Bear to Running Springs, not sure what?

I'm here at SBPD looking north from the parking lot. The smoke is headed in a south west direction over what appears to me to be the Strawberry Peak/Lake Gregory drive area with the smoke blowing down in the San Bernardino Valley areas.

WTF? Called the supposed Forest Info line at 355-8800, and they are still on Sunday evening. Shades of 2003, useless. Get with it and thank you all for posting info on this site. Lucky to have some dependable transcribers.
