Already done Toad. Since those of us who are required to follow the rules apparently also must police the industry, I have found the hotline. Now, if our state would just act on the information, problem solved.
Problem being, the number of violations out weigh the enforcement. You know, kind of like the drug trade in our country.
BTW, Illinois is a right to work state as are many others. The true living wage for a compentant builder or mechanic or professional in the construction industry far less. Likely because everything else in these states are not inflated as is California.

Mr Nutts,
How bout you take over the league?
Heck, with your imagination alone, this mountain might someday have indoor facilities and leagues year round.
All ya got to do is convince 200 ball players to let girls play along side with them. Oh, and then find an insurance company who will write the medical policy.
Should be easy for a fella with a proven record of leadership like you. What do ya say there Lugg.

Good job beachboy. Maybe the CSLB might be able to ivestigate after they finish the 6 month backlog of complaints against licensed contractors.

No doubt 6 months, more likely 6 years.
I just find it astonishing, people do not weigh out the advantages and dis advantages of licensed VS: unlicensed personnel.
I, for example, worked very hard to obtain my license and have a certain pride in maintaining it to the highest standards. Customer satisfaction, the bottom line. Kind of like NASCAR. Without fans in the seats, NASCAR would go the way of the dinosaur. Should a difference of opinion arise and I should refuse a customers request, there is recourse for that client.
Not so in an unlicensed situation. The board would likely explain the laws and bow out saying, this is a civil matter and all will be well once your lawyer finishes the litigation.
As I had also suggested, a licencee sanctioned by the CSLB, performs back ground checks, fingerprinting with the DOJ before issuance of a license. Little known fact is, if an individual shall be a convicted felon, you will NEVER be issued an State of California Contractors License.
So, all in all, let the folks do what they believe is best for every single situation. Should it be decided they turn against the licensed contractor in favor of thr non licensed, so be it. Hopefully, the businesses these clients operate or are involved in not suffer the same boycott by those of us who may be considered, consumers.
What comes around, goes around, right.
Have a nice day.
