He either wasn't rescued, or there was more than one Chihuahua dumped. He was hit by a car.
As I drove by the Ranger station, I noticed that a woman was parked there, she had a little Chihuahua on a leash... I was hoping that she had found the dog and was taking it home. But, as I went down a little further.. I saw a small brown Chihuahua laying on the shoulder on the downward lane. I'm pretty sure that he was a goner, he wasn't moving at all. I couldn't stop and check, as there wasn't anywhere to park, much less walk. People suck.That's too bad I, too, saw the two cars that were stopped in the turnout to try and catch the little guy. That was a little after 7 this morning. I was hoping they'd be able to get him.
