I can, and have eaten them til I'm sick, and still wanted more! It's been decades since I've done that!

So glad you all were here to stop this possible calamity!

There are some VERY nice Christians on this site. Just not sure who are single, but I'm sure Lisa's MIL will find someone just fine on her own. It was sweet of her to try to help. She just needs to be careful, and meet friends, through other friends, who have shown good judgement. It's not easy. But, this site has PROVEN to be the wrong avenue.

It is however, a great place to meet the right nice people if you give it some time IMO

I find Lisa quite charming and she should come hang out on some of the "other" threads.

Bring on the Reese's!!!! It is soo hard to find unmelted Reese's during this heat wave. Guess I'll have to have my special Ice Cream Sundae:

French Vanilla Ice Cream - 2 scoops (ok..3)
Warmed PB - pour over scoops
Hot Fudge - pour over scoops
Spanish Peanuts - for the salt & the crunch

I usually put my ice cream (any kind) in the freezer for a bit with some scoops of PB on it, and then eat with or without fudge. Mmmmmm, PB goes with everything!

Lisa,
Has you MIL tried going to the church functions ie: bible studies, single groups. This might help her find someone that she can become friends with. Aterall, the best relationships are based on the greatest friendships.
You have to watch out for the folks that just fake it if you know what I mean.
Just my 2 cents.

Hang out for awhile on this site and explore, you will KNOW that we meant well.

Some of us are about your MIL's age, and if you hooked me up with ................(name, not to be said aloud) I would KILL you! Very married here, so not looking. "Engaged for 17 years, happily married for 9 here!" No rush!!!

there are singles at new wine christian fellowship I am sure there are many out there in other churches as well
please encourage your mom in law to take her time and to remember she will be happier evenly yolked Spiritually
(her as unto the Lord being very very close to his) and Talk with the Pastor concerning the fellows maturity and important go threw even at her age a pre counsel it truly benificial.
(responding to the first post only)Sometimes it is easier to serve God single (Paul mentions this in the bible)
