Actually, if they pull it off I'll be jealous. We've always wanted to sell our business and start up a Resturaunt. Mrs. Packersfan insists that we would have to make money though. Rats!

Madeline's was up for sale. The new owners will take it over in a couple of years.

Good and bad news! Madeline's has been there for a long time, Glad the owner was able to sell it if that's what she really wanted to do. How exciting for the new owners! I wish them the Best!

Next to Johnnies Market in V.O.E...I believe that it is a pink building!

I thought you guys were talking about the Village, that's why I was confused. I've eaten at Madelyne's Ocean View lots of times.

But I've never seen the Ocean from there. Only Waters Drive.

My husband and brother-in-law, who both are here in Lake Arrowhead, have wonderful restaurant cooking experience.
My husband was manager for a great (and SUPER busy) Italian/Greek place back East. Both of them managed a branch of a pizza shop out there as well for several years. If someone was willing to open a restaurant out here and get things moving you would have 2 great cooks already!
Right now they both stay home and take care of the kids, and fortunately for me make dinner every night

Sounds great! I love Greek food. Please post a Google Map and the expected time of dinner.

A Daphne's Greek Cafe would be awesome...

Yes, a Greek cafe is in order. And if you want true Basque Food, head on over to Deerlick. Not open yet, but get your appetites ready! More info on Deerlick thread.

Looks like our choices will "remain missing" as the original poster removed their post. Never once responded to any one,nor did they get involved. What a jerk!
