Anybody have any good recommendations for a carpet cleaning company up here, I called one and they wanted $5 a stair which made it very expensive, if you know of someone please let me know, I would appreciate it, reasonable but good work it what I am looking for.

Schrader's just did my carpets last week and did a great job. I have a 3 story house so it was expensive ($3/stair) but the kids that came were polite and professional and moved furniture around to get all the carpet. Sorry I don't have the number but they are local.

Jim Schrader is the only one we will hire to clean our carpets both up and down the hill. He is a little more expensive than some, but he does a great job. Our carpet is over twenty years old and still looks like new with yearly cleaning.
Schrader's Carpet Care; 909-336-5616. Jim is local.

We've used Carpet Masters for the last 5 years and they've done a great job. They're listed in the yellow pages.

We used to rent the "Rug Doctors" carpet cleaning system and found out that adding a cup of windex to each load of solution did miracles. We do not have carpet in our main living area so we do not need to have this service. Just throwing it out there if you have the energy to do it yourself.
I do admit at these times we need to consider that supporting our local resources is very important. I was just sharing the "Rug Doctor" idea as we had over 20 years ago a peach color carpet that was not cleaned to our standards down the hill, just sharing the idea. I do encourage to support our locals.
