I have become more and more interested in the release of the new systems which started wit hthe 360, which i have discovered is now old news in the world of gaming. The Wii looks to be truely a unique gaming experience, while the PS3 seems to be just another high priced graphics pushing console. Im just lookingfor different point of views concerning the new systems, see who is getting what, and who owns what.

My son has been n line for three days at Best buy and he is getting one. they are going for almost 2000.00 each on ebay. I would wait until after the holidays to get one from a retailer.

i have never been able to purchase a video game system when it isfirst released, learned my lesson from a friend who purchased a recalled ps1 after waiting in line for hours. Best of luck to your son, hopefully he'll get hs system!

I personally think both of the systems are too overpriced right now...if you were going to buy one, buy it at least 6 months later! The price goes way down, and there's more games out. Trust me, i'd rather wait 6 months to a year to buy something for $200 than like..$400 or something.

Sadly, the trend that the X-box 360 created begs to differ, prices are morelikely to fall after a year period of time in retail markets than at 6 months. The Nintendo Wii retails for $250, which, once again prooves tha Nintendo actually take into consideration the average family. If i were looking to get into the market far a new system as quickly as possible i would resort to froogle.com, usually one can find a good deal there, though the video game market is often hard to crack.
