Here's a link to a totally cool site which is a collection of jam-type songs.

http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/~aparsons/guitar/guita...

Not only are they all in one place, kind of like our Mountain Hymnal, but if you don't like the key, just tell it how many half-tones to up or down and it will transpose for you! Huge time-saver, unless you're skilled enough to transpose on the fly. Enjoy!

Wow! How cool is that! Thanks!

Another good one is www.chordie.com - has thousands of songs with both chords and tabs. Does the key transpose thing too.

I've pulled many tabs from chordie.com. But I have to know what I want. I can't always remember the songs that lit my fire at one time. What I love about this site is that these are those songs! I was going down the list going, "I love that, I love that one too, wow, I forgot all about that one." So it's like a custom chordie. Whee!

He's like one of the best blues dudes around. Can you imagine what and where he'd be if he were still alive?
Sent: Friday, May 9, 2008 06:52 PM

Do you go to the sunday jams?
Sent: Friday, May 9, 2008 07:00 PM
I'll check him out. I've heard of Gary Moore, but I can't think of anything he does. What about Ry Cooder. He kicks a$$!

I haven't been to the Sunday jams yet, but I do sing. Errant, Marianne and Mags have been asking, so I may go yet.
