PASSING THE TORCH: A NEW MAJORITY

I enthusiastically support Barack Obama for President of the United States. For the first time since I was eligible to vote nearly half a century ago, I am actively participating in the process of nominating and electing him.

Senator Obama has demonstrated that he is a leader who listens and learns. Coming from the Land of Lincoln, he is the only candidate whose inspiring appearance, personality and performance will be an emblematic victory for America and the world in this time of great crisis.

Barack Obama is a model family man who has performed for 25 years as a senator, professor and community organizer in Illinois and Washington, D.C. He has addressed critical issues that have remained unresolved throughout the Bush/Clinton administrations. Barack Obama offers 21st Century solutions starting now. Please check barackobama.com.

Barack Obama is more electable than any other candidate, appealing to Democrats, Independents and Republicans in the White House, Congress, state and local government and the private sector. The Obama team embraces the talent and experience of a new majority without sacrificing fundamental principles.

I urge you to seriously consider his candidacy and vote for him on February 5, 2008.

Sincerely,

Bruce Daniels

It is good to see honest enthusiasm rather than the usual cynicism relating to politics.

While people keep trying to insist that it doesn't matter, that all politicians are the same, that they are all crooked... it is a breath of fresh air to hear from people who can get entirely behind their candidate without reservations. It is this freshness and the bold energy that I think reminds people of JFK and RFK.
