It's about time! That old bridge was narrow, had only one narrow walkway for pedestrians, and it was crumbling everywhere. Yes, structurally it might have still been safe, but cosmetically it looked pretty bad..

Is 'signalizing' the new bridge a real necessity? Seems to me a waste of electricity, gasoline and time. Do we really, truly need more traffic signals here in the mountains?

I don't know about a signal but I'd be happy with just Stop Sign for traffic heading out of Big Bear Lake. It's a real pain if we need to get out of here from the Fawnskin side (38) when there are a stream of cars leaving Big Bear!
