I really hope you can come to this meeting. I believe the more information we have the better armed we'll be to protect ourselves.

I have been a mountain resident for the past 19 years and have witness the correlation of crime related to the influx of illegal immigrants in our small community. And, now, we need a community meeting on crime. We are slowly becoming one with our sister city of San Bernardino. Perhaps, if the local contractors as well as the business owners stop hiring illegal immigrants for cheap labor in addition to landlords stop renting to illegal immigrants, the crime rate will decrease. There will be no reason to remain on the mountain with no place to live or work. Since the invasion of illegal immigrants, I have noticed more graffiti and trash along the road ways. It is unsafe to have 15 people living in a small two bedroom cabin. Not to mention, the unsightly mess with cars parked everywhere, trash, clutter and yards with overgrown weeds. Also, the day labors standing too close to the bus stops where children are waiting for the bus. Illegal immigrants are undocumented with no background checks. Who knows if they are a sexual predator or what crimes have been committed in Mexico. It is sad what our community is becoming. Perhaps, this is why so many people that I spoke with are leaving the mountain.

This is why we are having this meeting.
Hopefully we will come away with more info on why some of these things are happening.

There is nothing we can do all the calls have been made, they have all been ignored.
I don't need more info on why this is happening, I have eyes and see the illegals casing my neighbors houses. What is the meeting going to do? INS or ICE will not be there, the sheriffs have "no juridiction".

I am moving to a state where my vote counts and my voice will be heard and laws are enforced. That is what I can lawfully do, that is our only option.
California is going under and is just a big sanctuary/welfare state. What other burdens are they going to put on us to pay for this mess? We didn't need a hospital tax until it became an illegal alien birthing center, now more are coming and of course they will have to raise our tax again to keep the doors open.
I am sick of "it's their culture" and every other lame ass excuse for this takeover, I am outta here. Let the illegals figure out how to pay for the services in their new state.

Crime will continue to increase and home values will decrease. When your drive through Blue Jay to go to the Real Estate office, one does not see the charm of the community that once was there. What you see is a bunch of illegal immigrants standing around the trailer park up to no good or the laundromat packed with illegals. If you need gas, Five Points plays a selection of Mexican music and you are able to see first hand their "culture" using the pay phone and buying beer. Not to mention, the lovely establishment across from Five Points custom apartments with a dozen cars parked everywhere.

Legal citizens moved out of California in record numbers as well as illegal immigrants moving in. This state was one of the richest state and now it will be the poorest; Decrease in number of people pay taxes and increase for collect Welfare benefit. The culture will be no different than Mexico. Even people at my work are trying to sell their homes to get out of California. They will have to began all over again - new home, job and friends.

We are selling off all our mountain properties and keeping the 4 rentals that are under prop. 13. Our tenants can send the money to us out of state to be spent there instead of here.
You know, like the Mexicans send their tax free money to Mexico.

Dunn - I wish you wouldn't leave because that is exactly what the illegals and their backers want you to do. Why not stay and fight the good fight like the rest of us. The MECHA/AZLAN plan is to overwhelm neighborhoods forcing good residents to leave. Are you California born and bred? If so, you need to stay. There's no point in running.

I see that Big Bear's crime increased and mostly likely due to the illegal immigrant population that took over the community. Their plan is to have citizens on patrol which I can guarantee that our meeting will suggested too. Why don't they just crack down and follow our immigration laws?

We have been sold out by our own gov't, they want us all to be peons. What better way to do it than import the experts.
In order for the NWO plan to work all the people in the world have to be brought to the same economic level.
Mexico and other 3rd world countries will never bring their standards up so ours has to be brought down.

I have lived in the Southern California all my life from Huntington Beach to Lake Arrowhead. Lake Arrowhead was going to be the place for us to retire. Our roots are here down to jobs, friends although, most of my family members were smart and seen this coming moved out of state. We do have our home on the market for sometime now. The showings have decreased markable since the bail out started. We lowered the price as much as we can afford but there are to many foreclosure that we can not compete with.

I grew up in HB and used to fish off the pier when you could catch tuna off the end.

Remember when Bolsa Chica State Beach was called Tin Can Beach? LOL!
I hear what you are saying, we planned on retiring up here but it doesn't look like that plan is feasable anymore.
I tried to get my wife to see the light back in late '04 to get out but now that she has finally come around it is too late to do anything but take the loss on our property.
I figure at least 1/4 million or more when all is said and done.
It will balance out in the end though, they have no choice but to tax/user fee us out of everything to pay for this nonsense in this state.
