Location is hwy 79 north of Gilman Springs . Lambs Canyon Road

Hemet to the South and Beaumont to the North

60-70 acres wind driven fire * 1000 acre potential

ic is requesting a 2nd air tanker ( tanker 71 enroute)
also 6+ fire hand crews )

for road closures www.chp.gov

resources on this active fire is 75 ffs,
4 air tankers- 2 water tenders - 2 bull dozers- 1 air attack and 1 heliocopter

tempertures in that area of the fire is 98 degrees with winds at 1 mph out of the west with gusts to 8mph

with the high heat in that area of riverside county where this fire is one ffs is being treated for a heat related illness.

per www.wildlandfire.com IC is reporting 280 acres and at a 30% containment air tankers have been releashed and using helicopters instead..
