** our big bear hot shots are enroute to this fire and for those of you all that have family in the hotshot family heres is where may be going and any updates i can find on this fire

Location :near Hallelujah Junction
this fire as of today is 5,804 acres it was 2,000 acres as of last nite but over nite it very active the area is extreme rough near the ridge.

* there were 3 fires in the beginning but the largest is the 2 right now unknown about the 3rd one if that merged or just pooped out,,

NE flank ( side ) has pushed the fire now into Rancho Haven on the valley floor as it made its way over Peter`s Mtn

West Flank- is backing down the slope which has a 1/4 to 1/2 mile spotting range ahead of the main fire

South Flank- is backing down 2 miles North of the Cold Springs area

NW flank-is burning cross slope to the NW

structure protection is in place there are a few homes in the area of this fire that the Reno Fire Deptment is holding and monitaring this area 24/7 even thou the structures are not in danger as they are about 2-3 miles away..

FIRE Danger remains High

this fire is located East of Hwy 395 1/2 mile NE of Hallelujah Junction

extreme fire behavior has been seen since yesterday when this fire started..

* BOTH FIRES were started due to TRACTOR TRAILER SEMI FIRE whose brakes were on fire ( chp log yesterday) that spread to vegation*

No estimated of containment for either fire at this time.

air craft is working on both fires..

no evacuations at this time called for

Multiple rescources are on both fires ..

both wildfires together are burning up about 7,000 acres
north of Reno burning in sage and brush * nothing really in that area near by from the looks of it one maps..

BDF - BIG BEAR HOT SHOTS

these fires are on the border of ca and nevada area

Red rock ic is 10,549 acres with a 60% containemnt

Trailer ic - 1,349 acres with a 80% containment
