When it comes down to the end, people with drug addiction can only help themselves. I had someone close to me that was addicted to speed and all the help we gave him was not enough. He realized that it is him that must change which does not happen to the person hits rock bottom.

Being in jail is not rock bottom.

Crestlinemom I understand where you are coming from. That said when someone continually breaks the law by dealing drugs,burglery, shoplifting and using the drugs they sell society is going to condemn them.

I want to know what this tweaker looks like so if I ever see him near my or my neighbors home I will know to call the sheriff immediately. He has brought this on himself.

What you need to remember is that this judgement is for the criminal and in no way includes you the parent. Your son and this loser are adults making decisions that not only affect themselves, but the society they live in. This public listing of charges may bring you pain, but not as much as those that have had their homes, cars, businesses broken into to support this tweakers habit.

Criminal records are public records and on this mountain I for one want to know who is doing what and where they are doing it, what they have been arrested and charged with, how long they will be incarcerated and when they will be getting out.

If they get their act together and become a law abiding citizen then their evil deeds are forgotten. This mountain is incredibly forgiving of those who have had problems. However, if they continually break the law they once again bring themselves into the spotlight. That someone posts this on this sight is a service to everyone who reads it.

You need to put blame for the pain and embarrassment you are feeling where the blame is due. The person who is breaking the law. I know I don't speak for everyone, but blaming, judging and persecuting you for the sins of your son is ridiculous. You have done nothing wrong. Not to mention you sound like a lovely person. So please don't take these posts personally because they are not about you or this losers family. They are about the criminal who has broken the law.

Voyuer, I'm sorry I didn't mean you did anything. I ment people are posting others records, and we have talked about this more than once. Again this is a man that needs help, and I wouldn't want him near my home either. And yes it is public if you want to look up others records, but I don't understand the need to post it. And by the way how are you I never see you on, Mike is going to rehab I pray this time he wants to stay sober.

If Mike does succeed this time I know he will be met with open arms and hugs from our community. I pray he sees the light and decides to go towards it rather than sinking back into darkness.
