Someone named after an era in which dinosaurs roamed the Earth is accusing someone else of being old? Now that's funny.
Sent: Monday, May 12, 2008 12:58 PM
Good point. To a 20 year old, I might be old, to a 60 year old I might be young. I need a clear definition of old. Most of these posters appear to be around my age and thats not old. So coming from someone of the Jurasic era, now that's old. Or possible young enough to be a fan of the movie Jurasic, in which case he appears to be geek young. I'm bored.

I need a clear definition of old.

Are you eligible for the free Senior Lunch Program at San Moritz?

Do you belong to AARP?

Do you drive under the posted speedlimit?

Do you have grandchildren?

Do you say, "I remember when..."

If you answered one or more of these questions, you may be old.

I answered Yes to most, so guess I'm old

Whoo Hoo! I answered no to all. I guess I'm young. But, as the saying goes " I'm much to young to feel this damn old"!

Maybe he's on dial up....With costs these days, I'm looking at it myself! I have Charter, my neighbor has DSL, but it's slower than mine, depends on where you live, I guess. Some dial ups have some kind of speed enhancement for an extra $5.....Then again, I've had double and triple postings once or twice, even on Charter. It could be too many people on ROTW's server at once.

Drive it every day, and wouldn't have thought twice if you hadn't complained. I'm just glad it was done and it looks fine to me. I think the complaint is a bit petty. Save it for where it really counts, like what the job in Blue Jay ends up looking like. That will matter.

If the rumble strip rumbles, it's great. We can't expect CalTrans to use a straight edge to paint the lines. Hopefully it will cut down the accidents, but I fear it will just alert the bad drivers that they are about to crash. It will be very helpful in the thick fog conditions.

JP obviously did not pay attention when it was done originally. they actually just followed the same lines which were there before. There were spots where the lines are real close and other spots where the lines are the way they are supposed to be. I'm with others-as long as the lines are there to get me home. Like the new reflectors. Now the lines and reflectors on the rest of 18 need to be done.
