Tomorrow is the can food drive for the Crestline Food Bank, the canned goods will go in the Thanksgiving baskets that will be distributed by the food bank.
Don't forget the pets too...they are in need as well...a can of dog food or a bag of cat food would be great to donate as well.
Volunteers will be at Goodwin's market collecting can goods and other items for the food bank so bring your items or step inside and pick up a few extra items when you go shopping tomorrow.

There is also a big collection bucket at Paula's Cafe, in Toptown, where you can drop off canned goods for the food bank.

We just sent down 3 bags of canned goods for the food drive so now everybody else go to your pantry and rotate out your canned goods so everybody has a good dinner...
hubby was going to Goodwins to buy cat and dog food too and give it to the collection... great idea.

I went to Goodwins today and donated a few things... I had a verra nuce surprize... There were two gorgeous Scots out front in full Kilt dress. Verra Handsome...
The lady I spoke with was wondering though..... Is it true. what they say about a Scotsman and what they wear with the kilt..

She said she was going to ask MountainScots wife..... LOL

Well I don't know about MtnScot, but if you met Furgus today, you know he only wears what God gave 'im underneath his kilt! I know a very nice group of fellows from the San Diego area called the Gordon Highlanders and they go regimental. When the wind is blowing one can get quite a view! "DON'T LOOK ETHEL!!!!"

Thanks for that wonderful compliment MtnBabyNurse. I was one of those Scots in a kilt so I am blushing now. The answer to the question of what is under the kilt is, my Ghilli Brogues and my hose.
I want to thank everyone who made donations and those who volunteered. It was a very succesful Food Drive and many people will have the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving because of you.

MountianScot, I am 1/2 SCOT. My mum was born and raised in Edinburgh, until she married my dad who was in the service and moved to the states.... I would love any info you could give me, with the organization you are involved with... My mum died before I was interested in my heritage... I was too shy to come talk with you and a little intimidated by the KILT! LOL
