Do you have to live on the mountain to get on a team?

Do you have to live in California to get on a team?

No and No...

If you live say, out of state in Oregon or Washington or Idaho, it would however be suggested that you tune up your Helicopter and be certain the weather is such for a safe commute.

Here might be the problem. A guy shows up and lands in Right Field. He exits his aircraft cleets on and glove in hand. Over to the dugout and the beer drinking begins.

So, which one of his mates can be the designated HELICOPTER driver to get him home safely?

But, if you can hit, play the outfield and pay the umpire fees, (Especially when the rest of the crew can not) show up. I'll put ya on our team. I like the idea that if we need some lobster for a bbq, you could just run down to the docks and pick em up...

Looking to play part-time up here on Sundays as I've got other playing commitments DTH on weekends.

Corey, if you could use me I'd love to play every other week if at all possible. Or on any other team that's looking for able bodies.

Hey lugnuts,
I'm not going to play this year.
I got a dirt bike to play with and we are going to be on vacation for at least 4 weeks worth of games.
I may fill in if a team needs me. We went through that last couple years we have a ton of guys then nobody shows up at the same time. We forefitted 2 or 3 games last year, its a bummer. So if I can help a team from throwing a game I may be out there, we will see.

Hey Corey,
Let me know where and when you're gonna swing by a field. As of yet I'm not playing with anyone up here, so I'll be out in Poway on Saturday for a tournament and in West Covina on Sunday for league. We need to catch up and have a few non-carbonated beverages at the very least.
If I get home early enough I might swing by Hoffman and see who's out there playing.

Just saw this and wondering what your season up here is? My hubby might want to play next year...

is there a co-ed league?
From: Lugnuts
Sent: Tuesday, September 1, 2009 07:08 AM
Nope, no coed league on this side of the mountain. Contact the Recreation and Parks Department to see if anything is being developed. If you are currently playing elsewhere and would like to play this weekend I do know of a couple of teams who've already had last minute flakes they are looking to replace. Just drop a line here if interested.

Howdy, sorry I did not see your post earlier. Our season is just about over for 09 but, if you log on to the website,
www.leaguelineup.com/mtnsoftball

All the contact info you need is right there at your finger tips. We'd love to have more players. Seems every team runs short before it is all over.

Thanks
