I don't know of any Toast Masters. Maybe try an online college course. Then they have tests at the school and maybe find some interests there.

I think there is a Toastmaster's in Big Bear. Why don't you try a drama class at the newly formed LARTA in Crestline. They meet at the Quonset hut. They might have just the class you're looking for.

It all makes so much sense now.As a child he kept himself safe. Not engaging with other kids. And plus he was more the music artist and creative typ.Not the jock at all.In high school dove into A.V. and film.Still Dee Jaying on the side. But I allways thought I screwed him up.Well I'm sure I did somthing.Anyways I wont give up on him.Thanks...

momofdj: Drama classes are an excellent idea, as are public speaking courses that are typically given in junior colleges.
Public speaking/dealing with others/socializing can be difficult for many, it seems. If he can't afford college courses, there are other options, I am sure.
I had my girl scouts go through a number of exercises that gave them more confidence and the courage to speak in front of others. I've had 6 years experience in drama and public speaking---if you need anything, please let me know!!
Good luck to your son!!
