I just saw the referenced news item on channel 9 again. They are talking about an area of Rowland Heights on the west side of the 57 freeway called 'Crestline' that Diamond Bar wants yo annex. That bugged me, since we have a Crestline up here that is 'official' enough to have a post office. A similar thing happened during the Morris fire; the news talked about a 'Twin Peaks' area in the middle of the fire zone. I live in 'our' Twin Peaks, which also has its own post office. It seems like the news peeps could at least make the distinction between known towns and local areas elsewhere with the same name.
End of rant / hijack, back to the thread..

Just on the actual locations, inJC. We've seen things like this before, especially during fires, when they are miles off sometimes when reporting from or about areas up here.
