Next Saturday, The water company will host an informational meeting. There is a notice posted on the water company window. That is nice for the people up the hill, but not for those of us down the hill. It is too bad, repeat IT IS TOO BAD that the water company does not have a website up. It was promised in May at the shareholders meeting. I hope that Rick has a GOOD explaination for not having a website up and rumming.

GVLhiker;
Be thankful that there are plans for a website and that it has the backing of the Board and Shareholders.
The mechanism for change in these local water companies is ellusive at best. What can possibly be the matter with having the information you seek about your water company available online?
As far as I am aware, our water company VOEMWC have no such plans to implement a web site.
Good luck with the quest for answers, I will be watching for the progress as you report it.
Thanks Ed

Tucker;
Why have you jumped ship on the VOEMWC? Have you had a gag order placed upon you by your boss?
The information that you have contributed to this thread is of the same lack of value associated with your post in the VOE WATER RATES GOING UP Thread.
Please enlighten and drop a new bomb regarding the water company.
Something like.............

Honestly, how long does it take to put up a very basic website...about half a day or so. Come on, purchase a domain name, there are a million very low cost hosting providers and use MS Word to create a basic page with the info your customers have been asking for.

Thanks for your input folks,
Originally I wanted to build the whole site all at once and then post it and start it. It seems that there is some interest as to if or when the site will truly be there I feel your concerns. We have secured 2 web address for the web page. 1 is active at this moment. It is
www.gvlwater.org the other is gvlwater.com but this is not active at this time. They are currently under construction and we will be posting some general information this week including the meeting notice set for Saturday at 10:00. Other information that will be posted is in regards to street closures for the Angeles Main project and the plan for community access into the area during the construction.
Regards to all and thanks,
Rick
