World War II Memorial
In the shadow of the Lincoln and Washington Memorials and not far from the Vietnam Wall is the World War II Memorial. Washington, D.C. architects designed the memorial so it would not interfere with the view of those two more famous memorials. On Veterans Day 2007, we recall our visits to the various memorials and honor American veterans of all wars.
